First of all, in terms of developmental guidelines, and where your baby needs to be at in order to be suitable for this product, or more correctly, if this product is right for your baby in its current stage of development. This product is really only suitable for babies who are able to hold their head up unassisted, but are not able to climb out and walk by themselves yet. We cannot specify a specific age group for this, because it is dependent on your baby’s level of development, which of course is unique for all babies.
This product is very popular because of the way it promotes comfort and security for your baby, partially due to its very comfortable rotating seat, that provides a secure seating position for the baby to play and learn while using the unit. The main positive attribute of this entertainment unit, is that it stimulates your baby senses, which help you to learn faster. The baby can activate different music, sounds and lights, and there is also a whole bunch of different playful characters and friends for your baby to interact with, which will help it learn and grow in a fun way.
Apart from that, the unit promotes gentle learning, using songs, sounds and graphics along with colourful friends and characters, and shapes, which all help to teach your baby. Also, the effect of the need for the baby to reach and grasp onto the toys that are included within the unit, helps with the baby’s development of eye hand coordination.

Our 6 month old enjoys this- however, only for short increments at a time. He lasts longer in the Baby Einstein stationary set. With this, he gets bored easily. Also, the flower toy on the white base does not stand up in the picture- maybe ours is a defect, but it is wilted over and a bit dysfunctional.

I loooove this! It is so fun to watch my little sweetheart bounce & jump. He can turn & I can see that as he grows, this is going to continue to provide different stimulation. Well worth the money!!By bcochran
This is the second jumperoo we have bought (one for ourselves last Nov.2009 and one for good friends (this year 2010). Both babies have loved it for long periods of time. Grows well with your child. Easy to set up, clean, and adjust for growth.

My Daughter loves this Jumperoo for her new baby boy. He is 3 months old now and can sit up in it and laughs at all the bright colors and figues.
By Tina AllenI bought this for my 3 month old daughter and was worried that it wouldn’t support her enough. But the seat is very supportive and I appreciate the support behind the head. It was SLIGHTLY too big for her, but we just fold a blanket underneath. She spends an hour at a time in it, and I think she will enjoy it even more as she gets older and figures out how to rotate herself. As another poster mentioned, I can see how her fingers could get pinched in between the elephant and the green frame, but I’m not too worried about that. This has really helped strengthen her legs and core – it was money well spent!
